I wrote this book for working moms who are ready to make the changes necessary to live their best life; for women who constantly feel strapped for time and guilty about shortchanging someone or something. But change never happens unless we create it. You don’t need to wait on anyone else. About the Author

Dr. Lisa Herbert, “The Balance Doctor,” is a family doctor, certified professional coach, and the Founder and CEO of Just the Right Balance, LLC™. 

After graduating from Stony Brook University, Dr. Herbert received her medical degree from Upstate Medical Center, concluded her residency in Family Medicine at Mountainside Hospital, and completed her training as a Certified Personal and Executive Coach with The Coaching Institute of Applied Positive Psychology. 

As a family physician serving the community for 22 years, Dr. Herbert has held the position of Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Family Medicine at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey, and received the Degree of Fellow from the American Academy of Family Physicians. She coaches working moms and physicians to take back their life and redefine work-life balance, so they can take charge of their career, health and relationships without sacrificing their own fulfillment. 

Dr. Herbert is a wife and proud mother of two. When she is not writing, she achieves balance by enjoying the arts, traveling, reading an enjoyable book, and spending time with family.
